VUture proof education: where do online and campus meet?
The VU Education Day is the place to share inspiring ideas about projects and practical examples from education, and to look forward to the (near) future of education. Teaching staff and students are invited to take part. The theme of this VU Education Day is: Blended, hybrid and online learning. What do we take with us into the future?
Keynote speaker is Professor Neil Morris, Interim Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Digital Transformation, University of Leeds (UK). Neil Morris is the driving force behind the digital transformation strategy of the University of Leeds. He is an expert in blended, hybrid and online education and does not lose sight of the experiences of students. Neil holds a Chair in Educational Technology, Innovation and Change. In his interactive keynote, he takes us into the future of online education.
Participants of the Education Day can choose from a range of different workshops. Workshops will focus on VU’s vision on blended and hybrid learning, on the effect of online education on students and teaching staff, and on the practical side and do’s and don’ts of hybrid teaching.
