Offer

At VU Amsterdam, each faculty has their own Career Services contact, so we know exactly about the ins and outs of your degree and our service is tailored to your specific needs and circumstances. Each faculty organizes events and offers workshops and coaching sessions, often in cooperation with our network of potential employers, alumni and study associations. Some faculties have an extensive Career Services platform, others are currently working on expanding their proposition. Please refer to your faculty’s Career Services info through these links:
VU Amsterdam also organizes and co-hosts a number of annual events that are open to students from all degree backgrounds. If you’re interested in Information Management and ICT, check out our Tech020 pages for info on the latest edition in February and how to register. If an international career is what you dream about, check out our International Talent Event Amsterdam ITEA. These events are co-hosted with the other Amsterdam higher education institutes UvA, HvA and In-Holland.

Most Study Associations also organize career-related events. From informal drinks with specific companies to huge on-campus career events. Want to get a head start on your career and building a network? Check your study association for more information.
Interested in becoming an entrepreneur? There are several initiatives at VU Amsterdam that can help you on your way. Check out these pages from Demonstrator Lab and keep an eye on the VU Hub that was recently launched, for more information.
